Speech & Feeding Therapy

Children who receive speech therapy learn the fundamentals of speech and language. Speech therapists work with children to improve receptive and expressive language skills, voice fluency, oral-motor difficulties, articulation, the pronunciation of words, how the child produces words, and speech structure.
Certified speech therapists can provide feeding therapy to children experiencing feeding and swallowing disorders including either the inability or unwillingness to eat specific foods. Treatment may include direct feeding, introducing different types and textures of foods, and oral-motor skill improvement.
