Before Tender Age, we struggled to get Stephen in the car to attend therapy. "My son Troy has been getting services at Tender Age PT since 2006; at the time he was 13 years old.  He was the first child to receive services at their new center.  This year, at age 21 Troy is graduating and starting a new chapter in his life.  Troy was diagnosed with Autism at age 3 and Apraxia at age 13.  Without the services provided by the incredible staff at Tender Age PT, I truly feel that Troy would not be the young man he is today.  He wasn’t always the easiest to work with; at times very behavioral.  Everyone at the agency was patient, kind and supportive to the entire family.  

Their professionalism, creativity and determination assisted Troy to work thru many challenges.  I asked Troy if there was anything else that he would like to add; he told me that he wanted to let everyone know that he is grateful for their hard work.   Our family is eternally grateful to this agency and their staff."

"We were told my son would never walk. We were told my son might never be able to say “I love you.” We were told he would need a feeding tube, as well as several other crucial surgeries in his lifetime, just to sustain a meager existence. We were not given hope. That is, until we met the staff and therapists of Tender Age! The staff and therapists of Tender Age are miracle workers! Today, my son plays video games (Fortnight, Madden), has lots of friends, plays on several adaptive teams and won medals in the special Olympics. P.S. he never shuts up, and he LOVES eating! I can never thank Tender Age enough!"
