Occupational Therapy
Fine tune their fine motor skills.
Occupational therapy focuses on developing a child’s fine motor skills or smaller movements. Some of the things children in occupational therapy may work on are their hand-eye coordination and the synchronization of their smaller muscles to develop and improve grasping skills and other reflexes. Writing skills, hand strength, and the ability to grasp and correctly use an object, for example holding and using a pair of scissors to cut small shapes, are concentrated on during a session.
